I’m happy when I finish things that sadness helps me start…
Poem: “I’m Happy That I’m Sad Today.” Drawn To Rhyme, 2026, pp.108-109
In 2026, we’re releasing Drawn To Rhyme - a children's poetry and illustration collection with an unusual origin story and powerful mission.
“After my brother Noam's death by suicide in 2024, my family discovered a box of his childhood artwork that had been tucked away. Drawn To Rhyme pairs over 300 of Noam's illustrations with poems I've written and collected since age seven. This posthumous collaboration blends our childhood creativity in a way families can enjoy together while potentially opening up conversations about mental health.
100% of proceeds support Lift Every Voice Today, a nonprofit organizing suicide prevention programs, mental health scholarships, and creative workshops that teach poetry and creativity to children using Drawn To Rhyme.
We hope this book's story, and its mission, will resonate with those who appreciate old school marker-on-paper human creativity in an increasingly AI-saturated world; as well as anyone seeking a glimmer of inspiration in navigating mental health discussions with young people.” - Eytan Nicholson (Author)
We hope you will enjoy and share this unique book!
